Local Natives is closing out their sold out three night residency tonight at the historic Hollywood Forever Masonic Lodge! Every night, they’ve played a unique setlist, featuring both old and new songs. This makes each night so special, and we wish we could’ve been there for all three!!

The Masonic Lodge is eccentrically located within the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. You have to walk past gravestones and climb stairs to get to the venue. The eerie atmosphere pumps up the adrenaline and sets the vibes right for an intimate, spirited experience in the 150 cap room.

On night one, with no opening set, Local Natives wasted no time and walked right through the crowd to get up on stage. Known for bringing relentless energy to every live performance, this indie rock band lived up to expectations.

The crowd radiated with energy as they proudly sang lyrics from some of Local Natives oldest songs. There were even a few cuts that Lead Singer, Taylor Rice, claimed they had never played live before. The chemistry between each of the 5 members breeds of deep friendship, masterful talent and artfully evocative minds.

With introspective lyrics and complex harmonies, each Local Natives song compels the listener to be present in the moment and dive deep into the supernatural power of live music. Our personal favorites from the night were Sticky Thread, Shapeshifter, and Black Balloons.
