My entire life, I’ve always hated anything associated with Mondays – that is until I went to an Almost Monday show.

Almost Monday played The Foundry at The Fillmore, in Philadelphia, this past Tuesday. It was their second date of their “only wanna dance tour.”

DOUBLECAMP, a pop/indie band from Nashville, got the night started. With their unique sound and authentic energy, they got the crowd warmed up perfectly filling the room with radiant energy.

Almost Monday’s presence alone was stellar. Everything from frontman Daugherty’s vocals to the dancing crowd was nothing short of an amazing night. They opened their set with one of their most popular songs, “broken people.” They also surprised the crowd with a cover of The Romantics song, “What I like about you.”

Everything about their stage presence, the crowds energy and each song they selected for their set list, just proves that this tour they really did “only wanna dance.”
