Chicago’s most extensive Latin music festival returns for its third installment this summer and boasts a stellar lineup. The two-day music festival hosted in Grant Park, Chicago, is set to take place May 25th and 26th, making it a great way to spend your Memorial Day Weekend.

Headliners

Sueños’ 2024 headliners include some of the biggest names in Latin music. Rauw Alejandro and Peso Pluma will be headlining the main stage this year including a special performance by Ivan Cornejo.

The official 2024 lineup features over 25 Latin artists and highlights multiple Latin music genres, such as reggaeton, Latin trap, and regional Mexican music.

Tickets + Pricing

  • As expected this year, Sueños sold out within hours of ticket release; however, the option to join the waitlist or purchase through the verified resale program is available. Passes start at $310.
  • Passes for two-day admission include GA, GA+, VIP, and El Sueño with each pass including different amenities.

Location

Like previous years, Sueños 2024 will be held at Grant Park, 337 E. Randolph St. in Chicago, IL.

Venue Hours

  • Proudly referred to as “Chicago’s Front Yard,” Grant Park totals 312.98 acres and is a public park located in Chicago’s central business district in the Loop Community area.
  • Sueños hosts one main stage with performances beginning at noon.
  • Additionally afterparties will follow each night at the top Latin clubs in Chicago. Those times, artists & tickets will be announced as the festival approaches.
  • Gates will open from 12 pm until 10 pm on both days.
  • Attendees are to bring a valid government-issued ID for daily entry. It is also important to note that Sueños is an 18+ event.
  • Arriving early is recommended to secure a good view and allows you to explore the complete festval stress free!

Experiences

While the music is the highlight of Sueños, festival goers can experience everything else the festival offers. This includes local food vendors and bars highlighting Latin flavors and various photo ops for those looking to capture memories.

What to Wear

Dressing for comfort is a must for Sueños! As a previous attendee, I highly recommend bringing comfortable footwear as you may be on your feet all day. Sunglasses and hats are also encouraged. While it stays very warm throughout the day, it is encouraged to bring something to keep you warm as temperatures begin to drop into the night.

FAQs

Sueños 2024 Bag Policy is as follows:

  • ALL bags will be searched before entry.
  • Small clutch purses and fanny packs that are 6″ x 9″ or smaller do not need to be clear, but can have no more than one pocket.
  • All other bags larger than 6″ x 9″ must be smaller than 12″ x 6″ x 12″ and clear.
  • Hydration packs are allowed and do not need to be clear, but must be emptied of all liquid and have no more than two pockets in addition to the one holding the water reservoir.

What is allowed:

  • Clear bags made of clear plastic, clear vinyl, or clear PVC which do not exceed 12″ x 12″ x 6″
  • Small clutch purses and fanny packs that are 6″ x 9″ or smaller do not need to be clear, but can have no more than one pocket.
  • Binoculars
  • Blankets, Sheets, Towels
  • Cameras (basic point-and-shoot consumer-grade cameras) without detachable lenses and other accessories (monopods, selfie sticks, tripods, GoPro mounts, and other attachments are not allowed)
  • Empty reusable water bottles and hydration packs, and plastic or aluminum water bottles
  • Personal sized hand sanitizer
  • Sunscreen in non-aerosol containers is allowed in the size of 3.4 ounces or less

What is not allowed:

  • Any bags that are not clear or are larger than 12″ x 12″ x 6″. Any hydration packs with more than 2 pockets.
  • Aerosol containers, including sunscreen and personal beauty products
  • Coolers of any kind. (Exceptions may be made for medical use)
  • Framed backpacks, multiple pocket backpacks, and any pack that is not aligned with the allowed backpacks above.
  • Any and all professional audio recording equipment
  • Professional cameras and professional recording (photo, video, audio) equipment (NO large professional detachable zoom lenses, stands, monopods, tripods, attachment sticks (selfie sticks), or other commercial equipment.
  • Any and all professional video equipment. No video recording will be allowed.
  • Drones or any other remote flying device
  • Hammocks
  • Glass containers of any kind
  • Illegal and Illicit substances of any kind
  • Outside food or beverage (including alcohol) of any kind
  • Umbrellas
  • Pets (except service animals)
  • Selfie sticks
  • Skateboards, scooters, bicycles, wagons, carts, or any personal motorized vehicles
  • Tents, canopies, or shade structures of any kind
  • Unauthorized/unlicensed vendors are not allowed. No unauthorized solicitation and materials including handbills, flyers, stickers, beach balls, give-aways, samples, etc.
  • Weapons or explosives of any kind
  • Fireworks
  • Large chains or spiked jewelry
  • Bicycles inside festival grounds (free parking is available near festival entrance)
  • Carts of any kind (including Red Wagons
  • Chairs
  • Totems
  • All Chicago parks prohibit smoking of any kind, including vaping.
