Why Coca-Cola’s Sips & Sounds Is Austin’s Best Kept Festival Secret

Bookmarked post

If you haven’t heard of Coca-Cola Sips & Sounds Music Festival in Austin, Texas, you’re 1000% missing out. It truly is Austin’s best kept secret – the vibe is immaculate.

Imagine the feel-good energy of Austin City Limits, mixed with the nostalgic community of a neighborhood block party, and you’ve got yourself Sips and Sounds – the perfect kick off to the 2025 festival season.

What sets this festival apart? For starters, it’s a two-day festival – Friday and Saturday. This gives you all day Sunday to recover! Not to mention, the lineup is comparable to other fan-favorite music festivals, with this year’s headliners including Halsey, Khalid, AJR and Benson Boone, among many other pop and indie artists. The small, family feel of the festival makes it significantly less overwhelming than other festivals. With only two stages and no overlapping set times, you feel stress free from the lack of running between stages and trying to catch all your favorite sets.

If you love a brand activation as much we do, not to worry, Sips and Sounds has multiple pop ups that fans can enjoy, including an air-conditioned movie theater tent with popcorn and a beverage by Cinemark, a silent disco by Minute Maid and a double decker lounge sponsored by the new Orange Cream Coca Cola. There’s food trucks galore, ease with parking and ride-share drop-off, and not to mention, the production quality, pyro, and sound is all top-notch.

If you’re looking for a weekend filled with great music and fun people minus the overwhelming nature of a massive festival, Sips and Sounds is for you. Fans relaxed on the lawn, dancing and singing without a care in the world. We never waited more than 10-15 minutes for any of the pop-ups, bathrooms or food vendors. Festival fashion rocked, but there wasn’t the unspoken rule of “influencers only” like other music festivals. All around, Sips and Sounds was a total blast and Good Guys Press can’t wait to be back next year!
