Osheaga 2025 Canada Festival

Let’s be honest: Osheaga didn’t just drop a lineup—they dropped a declaration. This summer, Montréal is the place to be, and we’ve already cleared our calendars, emotionally prepared ourselves, and started outfit planning (yes, already).

From August 1–3, Osheaga takes over Parc Jean-Drapeau with a lineup that feels like a playlist you made at 2AM when you were feeling everything all at once—and that’s exactly how we like it.

Whether you’re heading to your first Osheaga or you’re a seasoned regular, this guide has everything you need to know: who’s playing, how to get tickets, what to expect, and why we at Good Guys Press keep falling in love with this festival year after year.

And because our very own Madison Truscan has covered Osheaga before, we’re sharing a few of our favorite photos from past festivals to show you the kind of magic this weekend holds.

📍 Festival Basics

  • Dates: August 1–3, 2025
  • Location: Parc Jean-Drapeau, Montréal, QC (Yes, it’s actually on an island.)
  • Tickets: 3-day GA passes start at $415 CAD
  • Upgrades: GA+, Gold, and Platinum available
  • Official Info + Passes: osheaga.com

Osheaga stands out because it balances everything you love about big festivals with a uniquely Canadian heartbeat: stunning natural backdrops, thoughtfully curated lineups, and a community that shows up for the music and each other.

🎶 The Lineup Is Everything

This year’s headliners alone are reason enough to book a flight!

  • The Killers — Festival veterans with crowd-shaking anthems
  • Tyler, The Creator — Brilliantly chaotic, always unforgettable
  • Olivia Rodrigo — The breakout pop icon with a voice that cuts deep

Also on our radar: Glass Animals, Gracie Abrams, Dominic Fike, Jamie xx, Doechii, Noah Kahan, Suki Waterhouse, Jorja Smith, and The Chainsmokers—just to name a few. Whether you’re into moody ballads, experimental hip hop, or pure dance floor energy, there’s something here for you.

🍁 Canadian Talent Shines Bright

Osheaga consistently amplifies Canadian voices, with 21 homegrown acts featured this year, including 12 from Québec.

Artists we’re watching:

  • The Beaches — Pure rock star energy
  • bbno$ — A genre-bending performer who never plays it safe
  • Ruby Waters, EKKSTACY, Aqyila, Rau_Ze — Each delivering their own take on what it means to be boldly and uniquely Canadian

🌅 What the Osheaga Experience Feels Like

If you’re picturing back-to-back sets and packed crowds, you’re not wrong—but it’s more than that. Osheaga is built on moments.

  • Standing on a hill with 40,000 other fans as the sky turns pink
  • Sharing water, sunscreen, and friendship bracelets with strangers
  • Discovering an artist you’ve never heard of who suddenly feels like a favorite
  • Watching the lights dance on the river as a set ends and the next begins

Add in art installations, local food, wild outfits, and the kind of crowd energy you can’t fake—and you’ve got a weekend that stays with you long after the music stops.

📸 A Look Back Through Our Lens:

Our bestie Madison Truscan has covered Osheaga before, and let’s just say: there’s a reason we’re so passionate about it. These are the moments that still make us feel something:

Osheaga 2025 Canada Festival Melanie Martinez

Melanie Martinez and her dreamworld come to life—whimsical, weird, and totally unforgettable.

Madison’s ability to catch the unspoken emotion of live music is part of what makes our Osheaga coverage so special. These images aren’t just pretty—they tell the story.

🎒 What to Bring (Trust Us)

  • Portable charger (you will drain your battery)
  • Refillable water bottle
  • Bandana or scarf (shade, style, and dust protection)
  • Comfy shoes that can handle 20k+ steps
  • Layers—it gets chilly at night, even in August
  • A plan, but also room for spontaneity

🎫 Okay, You In?

Osheaga 2025 is shaping up to be one of those festivals you talk about for years. Whether you’re chasing your favorite headliner, discovering something new, or just showing up for the experience, there’s something about this weekend that makes it stick.

And for us? It’s the moments we get to capture, celebrate, and share—with a community that loves music as much as we do.

Grab your passes, build your dream schedule, and maybe we’ll see you there.
