Tove Lo kicked off her North American Tour, Dirt Femme in Nashville, Tn with a sold out show at the Ryman Auditorium. This tour follows the release of the Swedish singer’s fifth and most recent album Dirt Femme, which was released independently under her label this past October.

She started the night full of energy by performing songs from her new album, “Pineapple Slice” and “Attention Whore.” Tove Lo also went on to perform various songs from her previous albums. Most notably she performed her new song “Borderline” live for the first time which is set to be released February 10th.

Throughout the show Tove Lo, wore various metallic outfits, something we see on her latest album cover as well. After a wardrobe change she performed “Grapefruit”, a song about her unhealthy relationship with her body and diet. The singer mentioned this relationship has clearly changed and now feels “comfortable being half-naked on stage.”

We saw Tove Lo’s third and final wardrobe change as she began to perform her encores. A ballad of her song “Stranger” was performed for the first time ever after meeting a fan the day prior in the city and asking what song they would like to hear live. She ended the night by performing, “Habit’s”, the song she noted started it all.

Tove Lo noted a full circle moment as both “Habit’s” and Dirt Femme were both as an independent artist.
